Bespoke Service

Let us know your interests, ideal dates and duration, and preferred flights, and we’ll create the perfect winter holiday just for you.

Day 1

Travel to the Pyrenees

Pick up your rental car at either Zaragoza or Barcelona, a 2- or 4-hour drive from the Tena Valley. Soak up the natural beauty in-between the ski resorts of Formigal and Panticosa, or soak tired limbs in the rejuvenating waters of Balneario de Panticosa’s hot springs.

Activity 1

Dog Sledding

Day one and it’s time to let the dogs out. Head out with a team of huskies into the frozen wilderness of the Tena Valley to experience the snowy terrain like an eskimo. Travel through pine forests and across frozen lakes accompanied by nothing more than a silent breeze, spectacular scenery and a pack of Nordic dogs – guaranteed to get the adrenaline flowing!

You will head out with your husky team to witness the spectacular scenery along the mountain trails, through forests and over frozen lakes. This is an activity that excites young and old alike.

Activity 2

Snowmobiling

Swap animal power for man-made motoring on day two with a guided snowmobile tour through the Partacua Valley. Zip through miles of forest trails and mountain slopes, and stop for lunch in a cosy mountain lodge.

Activity 3

Building an Igloo

Spend a full day working in teams to build an igloo. This unique experience offers you the chance to experience both the construction and the comforts of your very own ice house in the Spanish Pyrenees.

Activity 4

Snowshoeing

Ditch the skis and head cross-country on a snowshoe safari though scented pine forests and across frozen lakes. It’s the perfect chance for all ages and abilities to discover this winter wonderland on foot.

Skiing

Formigal & Panticosa

Two excellent mountain resorts provide superb facilities for skiers.

Formigal is one of the largest ski areas in Spain, if not the largest. It offers excellent runs for all levels and has hosted many international winter sports events.

Panticosa ski area is based around a traditional mountain village and also provides fantastic conditions for all levels, from beginners to professionals. It’s surrounded by peaks that reach 3,000 metres, offering a challenge for even the most advanced skiers.

Day 8 – Drive back to Zaragoza or Barcelona airport for your flight home.

Get in touch

We don’t deal in one-size-fits-all holidays. We build amazing journeys tailored just for you. But before we can do that, we need to know about you – what excites you, what are your ‘must-sees’ and ‘must do’s’, and conversely, what do you want to avoid or what makes you feel indifferent. We don’t do indifferent, and neither should you!
